Brow lamination

Brow lamination is a process of restructuring the brow hairs to keep them in the desired shape.

It’s the perfect treatment for anyone whose hairs are irregular in direction, who has any gaps in between said hairs, or who wants that groomed, brushed-up look. That feathery effect we lust after is often attributed to a brilliantly hard-wearing brow gel, and while such products do exist, they can be hit and miss (plus, they work better on some brows than others).

Promising “I woke up like this” eyebrows, lamination involves two different treatment solutions that do for our brows what a lash lift does for our lashes. The first is brushed through the eyebrow hairs and left on for 20 minutes, to make them softer and more malleable. Next, the brows are brushed into the desired position and a “laminating” solution is applied, to keep the strands in place. We then offer a colour boost to perfect the look.

Those who have an abundance of brow hairs will benefit most from lamination, as it can fix thick hairs in place, with the sort of hold no gel could deliver. But those with finer brows can benefit too. It helps give the appearance of slightly fuller brows, and the hairs that are there can be styled to cover any sparse areas.

Not only that, the effects can last up to eight weeks! A patch is needed prior to treatment.

Every Highly Defined Brow treatment will start with a consultation where your therapist will help you, based on your face shape, skin tone and of course, your style.

Your eyebrows will be mapped out to create the perfect shape Eyebrow tailored to your face shape.

Then your therapist will apply the tint around the Brows to pick up the fluffy, fair hairs that you didn’t even know were there.

Next, your eyebrows will be waxed to start creating the perfect shape brow for you.

Finally, your therapist will tweeze away any stray hairs, trim any overgrown hairs down and apply mineral-based make-up to complete the perfect looking Brow.

Highly defined Brows usually last between 4-6 weeks before they will need to be done again.

  First time attending the salon, booking was easy, just requested date and approx time needed was for an occasion.
On going in to the salon I was greeted and I took a seat in the waiting area (I was early)
Lona was very friendly, easy to chat too. And wow an amazing full pedicure, which is difficult to find these days as most salon only offer a file and polish.

  Lovely salon with amazing staff who are always so friendly. Have had a variety of treatments here one being makeup, looked exactly like my inspiration picture and made sure I was comfortable throughout with what it was looking like. Another treatment I have is BIAB, they always pay attention to the finer detail and make sure my nails are perfect which has left my nails in the best condition allowing them to grow quickly as well. The best salon I’ve been to.
